Being Future Ready is the Name of the Game

With 2020 bringing in a sea of changes, the company has been relentlessly delivering its quality and process expertise to help clients in the changing times. One such novel trend has been the proliferation of cyber threats as more of the workforce started working remotely from eCommerce retailers to mom-&-pop shops to service providers. In this regard, the company has been relatively proactive. “We have been among the initial set of professionals to get trained in the new Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)® assessment method, which is a US Defense initiative, to develop and demand the use of a set of best practices in the entire Defense supply chain (DSC),” says Sahana. Further, SQC is working to being a certified provider to perform independent certification against the model, as a CMMC Certified Third-party accrediting organization (known as C3PAOs). We also want to improvise on our BD-CMM capabilities as the Shipley-Business Winning Institute makes plans to develop the next version of the BD-CMM model, the only of its kind for best practices in the business development domain.
SQC will continue to build on and evolve its finesse around using virtual methods and routine mode of working while looking to introducing capabilities in new services such as the improved BD-CMM, and possibly the CMMC as we advance into 2021 and beyond. With the changing geopolitical landscape, the power of AI, Blockchain, and IOT already has impacted many industries, and the fact that the global economy is increasingly becoming service-oriented (over 80 percent of the world’s economy today is Services), Puthucode mentions that SQC could not be more excited to step into the next decade. “We are leveraging better ways of working given what 2020 has thrown in the mix, while adding new capabilities like cyber, more PMI certified training courses, in a slow but steady approach, to expand our services, and as a strategy. An expansion to set up an office/operation in the UK is something we have been thinking of to make happen in the next 2-3 years,” concludes Kris.
